Linux x64 issues

#1

i have two

  1. it’s not x64 specific but the SystemTrayIconComponent does not display transparent images (wich was explained to me), but it also displays some meory garbage instead of the actual image, i think it’s because this icon can have multiple dimensions depending on the WM configuration

  2. the call

Logger::writeToLog (File::getSpecialLocation(File::currentExecutableFile).getFullPathName());

returns an empty string, i checked and the getSpecialLocation fails, it can’t find the current exec file

platform info:
Linux atom-laptop 2.6.28-11-generic #42-Ubuntu SMP Fri Apr 17 01:58:03 UTC 2009 x86_64 GNU/Linux
latest juce revision from svn, ubuntu 9

On linux the executable file relies on juce_setCurrentExecutableFileName being called correctly to set it from the command line parameters that launched the exe - are you using the normal juce app startup code?

i was using the non-gui version so it’s propably it,

thanks i will check my initialization stuff for linux.

how about that tray icon stuff ? any chance to get that fixed ?
