Looking to develop a vocal focused pitch/formant shifter plugin

I’m looking to develop a simple 2-6 knob pitch-shifter and formant-shifter plugin focused on vocals as the input source. The goal would to be to make an optimized plugin with as little latency and artifacts as possible, with optional and simple effect processing such as chorus, short-room reverb, distortion, and multiband compression (similar to ableton’s stock OTT)
