Hi all,
I keep wondering why so much math gets converted to floats like using seconds in delay parameters not samples when given to users.

I tried setting up this eq as perfect divisions of a 48khz sample rate and a lot of what I disliked about the transients disappeared. Perhaps I have lost my mind. How do you all deal with this?

Well considering that samples change based on sampling rate, and are inherently disconnected from our sense of time, wouldn’t using seconds and time divisions of the current BPM be a more enjoyable way to interact with the technology?
