Multiple instances of juice demo?

Hi all !

This is my first post. I hope this is not something which has already been discussed.

I tried to launch twice the juice demo to test IPCs. Both the precompiled version, on this website, and a version I compiled myself refuse to run twice, a little bit like if multiple instances were deactivated. Do you have an idea about why it’s doing that ? It’s not a big problem for me, but I’m curious :slight_smile:

By the way, Juce is properly amazing !

I think I had built it with multiple instances turned off, but recently changed that - if you build the GIT tip you should be able to launch 2 instances. Or just tweak the setting yourself, in ApplicationStartup.cpp.

Just change “bool moreThanOneInstanceAllowed ()” method in ApplicationStartup.cpp of juce demo to return true.

bool moreThanOneInstanceAllowed()
{
   return true;
}

It should launch multiple instances after that.
