Instead of #define’d stuff for name version vendor, it would be great to have those returned via a method or set as a structure at run-time (my plugin copies itself as a new plugin with some static content changed, that transforms it to a new plugin, this static content is authored by other people, but those new instances get badly scanned by hosts, sometimes they won’t be seen at all for example when they’re AU .components just one is always seen)
Some things like that can’t be specified dynamically because they need to be baked-into project files like the plist or resources.
