We’re a small, founder-led audio plugin company building premium tools for music production. The team includes top names from the professional mixing and mastering world, and we have real products close to release. We’re keeping the specifics off a public post for now, and we’re glad to share everything once we talk.
We’re looking for one strong engineer to own the technical side of the product, end to end.
What you’d own
- Audio plugin development in C++ / JUCE (VST3, AU, AAX)
- Close, hands-on collaboration with the founders on DSP, turning their ears and mix decisions into how each processor actually behaves
- The backend and licensing / activation layer underneath the products
Who we’re after
- Deep C++ and JUCE, with shipped plugins you can point to
- Real DSP fundamentals, not just wiring up other people’s code
- Experience modeling analog or digital hardware, or emulating existing gear and plugins, so a target sounds and feels like the real thing
- Well versed in AI, and how machine learning is reshaping audio and how it gets built
- Ready to own backend and licensing, or hungry to grow into it
- Someone who wants a lead / CTO-track seat, not just tickets
Nice to have
- Experience with backend and web development
- A product sensibility, an ear, and opinions about what makes a plugin worth buying
Details
- Fully remote, work from anywhere
- Full-time preferred, but not exclusive; open to contract or part-time for the right person
- Compensation is competitive, and we’ll get into specifics with each candidate
If this sounds like you, send a short intro, your portfolio or GitHub, and a couple of plugins you’re proud of. Please PM me or reach out to mike@mikeseabergmix.com
