setBounds after setTransform

Can I get a tip on how I could set bounds of an object after say a rotation?

For example, on iOS I'm trying to rotate my app 90 degrees to the right and then squeeze it back into the screen. Currently, after I set the transform, it crashes when i then call setbounds - this makes sense I think.

How would I look at using getLocalPoint / getLocalArea to bring my app back into the screen?
