I'm wondering if there is an easy way to have a PopupMenu show the currently selected SubMenu item when you click on the base menu. In other words,I want the menu to show fully expanded, so you can easily see the currently selected item. I tried using PopupMenu::show (int itemIDThatMustBeVisible) and pass in the currently selected item, but that didn't seem to work. I have it working by overriding showWithOptionalCallback, but I'd prefer a simpler solution.
I've never seen that behaviour in any OS menu, and TBH as a user I'd find it a bit odd if a menu appeared in a fully-opened state like that..
Ok, thanks. Ya, it's definitely not for an OS style menu.
