Stand alone Application

Hi Guys,

As I’m new to the Juce Framework. I’ve gone through various posts / threads on running plugins as standalone applications, and even in the api, the ‘Stand alone’ search results in only the filter / plugin holder.

I’m wondering if its possible to develop a stand alone application, that is built and released as an individual executable application, not associated as a plugin. For example, a standalone Midi interface application with the benefits of the inbuilt GUI.

Any tips would be great. Thanks :slight_smile:

In the JUCE jargon, we talk about “GUI Application” in this case. This tutorial might help you understand better the options that JUCE offer: https://docs.juce.com/master/tutorial_choosing_projucer_template.html.
