We’re trying to add a video file into an audio plugin, however it seems that there are issues with this on Windows regarding video playback in general. The file we’re trying to use is a normal MP4 with H.246. I believe this is as standard as standard can get regarding video formats/codecs. On mac it plays flawlessly in both the demo runner and the vst plugin itself. On Windows, the demo runner version is glitchy and erratic. The vst version is completely gray. Is this some sort of commonly understood Windows thing, or are we just unlucky with our particular machines? It doesn’t quite add up that it would be specific to our machines and it seems others have similar problems. Is Windows video playback still “hacky” with juce? Is there a video format that would be more reliable? Thanks!
