You can call the static Time::getCompilationDate () to get compile date and time and display.

What do you mean by “base code about box”? The one in the projucer?
yeah, sorry, missed out that info. I’ve seen it appear elsewhere in the Projucer under some conditions but would be nice to have it in the about box along with the version info as an easy check.
Yeah, it’s visible underneath the logo in the Projucer that is displayed when nothing is selected but that only shows under certain conditions. I’ll add it to the about box.
