We just got a report that our instrument’s companion app hits some sort of region limit when attempting to connect to the instrument over BLE MIDI on an iPhone running Chinese iOS. I can find references to limits there on Bluetooth for other uses (file sharing, AirDrop, etc) but nothing that indicates that there are restrictions on MIDI over BLE in China.
Anyone seen this before or have useful ideas?
