just gave JUCE a try and noticed the fonts being kind of blurred (e.g. Editor Component).
What is the reason? Is it Linux specific? Is there a way to "sharpen" the font?
I'm operationg Xubuntu.

There's much discussion already on the forum about the ups and downs Juce's font rendering, if you search for font hinting / font rendering you should find it should you be curious.
In short, on some platforms, (windows, and I don't know which other...) Juce doesn't do hinting.
If you want hinting you can get it by using the vflib's vf_FreeTypeFaces, which again you can find a lot more about if you search the forum...
