Close editor from inside the plugin

#1

As a workaround for this problem I’m trying to implement a maximum of two opened editors. I managed to get a count of opened editors by a static counter which is increased in the constructor and decreased in the destructor, so checking which editor is to be closed should work somehow.

What I’m stuck with is whether it is possible to close the editor from inside (I would check the number of opened editors in the editor’s timerCallback()). The only way I can think of would be to tell the host to close it. Is there any way to do that?

Thanks,
Chris

No, it’s impossible to close an editor - the window belongs to the host, and none of the the hosts provide API calls to close them.
