Hi JUCE Team,
some of our users are experiencing crashes on iOS 12 when opening the native FileChooser.
This issue appears to have been introduced in JUCE 8.0.4, specifically with commit a4ba0c1b1c.
I also came across this forum thread: FileChooser crashes after some commit in JUCE master branch, but the suggested fix there doesn’t resolve the issue on our side.
I’ve also tested it with the Demo Runner and I can confirm that commit cause the issue.
