Disable Font rendering minimumHorizontalScale?

Is there a way to stop JUCE globally from squashing fonts horizontally? I realize there are times the minimumHorizontalScale property of various calls and widgets can come in handy, but as a Typophile I really would like to have a way to just disable it globally. I believe non-proportional font scaling is not aestetically pleasing.

I think I achieved my goal of always-unsquashed fonts by patching the GlyphArrangement::addFittedText call in JUCE, but I'm not sure that really prevents any case and I think it would be great if there was a limit that was settable by the user without patching the library. Am I missing something?

I don't think I ever added a global way to disable it - I guess it could be done as part of the lookandfeel class..

+1 - would like to have this feature
