This is a rare opportunity for a Software Engineering Manager to join a company that transcends its market and has become a household name. Developing music production software that is used by Grammy award-winning artists and producers, you will be overseeing a growing team distributed across the US. They produce a range of audio plug-ins (VST, AU, AAX) compatible with all major DAWs so knowledge of audio frameworks such as JUCE or similar and experience coding with C++ is a necessity.
Aside from utilizing your expertise in audio software development, this role is a key management hire. Your ability and interest in leading and getting the best from a team is equally important. You will be responsible for mentorship, career development, and hiring of new team members, working closely with senior leadership to ensure the continued strengthening of the engineering team.
Experience needed:
- 5+ years of people management
- Solid understanding of the audio software landscape
- Expertise with C++, and knowledge of the JUCE framework
- Understanding of plugin development (VST/AU/AAX) and Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs)
- DevOps and software engineering best practice
- DSP and AI/ML concepts related to audio.
