File AND directory Chooser on OSX

Hi Jules !

I was dreaming about launching a native OSX objectChooser with JUCE… :smiley:
Indeed OSX can popup a hybrid file-directory chooser to let the user select either multiple files or/and one or several directories. (using NavCreateChooseObjectDialog)
The OSX version of iTunes already uses that to import files to its library.

Good Idea ? Bad Idea ?

Not a bad idea, but not very cross-platform - I don’t think windows can do this, can it?

you’re right i’ve never heard about that on windows (i don’t know if existing on Linux?)
