Re new commit “Added options to PluginListComponent and PluginDirectoryScanner to allow scanning of a specific set of files”

I actually found it necessary to do the opposite and have modified my local version to have a dontScanList StringArray to exclude scanning a list of plug-ins rather than telling it which plug-ins to scan. This includes excluding plug-ins inside a shell.

Ah right - if you want to submit a change that does what you need, that sounds like something that’d make sense to add!
