Hi,

my plugin creates tails (its a reverb).

Can the tail length be reported with different size depending on the paramter and presets in use?

Or is it staticially reporting the maximum ("worst case") tail size the plugin can produce?

 

If its non-static, how can the plugin indicate the tail size has changed to the DAW?

You can change it, but I'd be very surprised if there weren't DAWs where you'd have problems. Maybe best to err on the side of caution and just give a long one.
