I contacted Comodo about their EV digital certificate, and they told me my organization must have been registered for 3 years.
It hasn’t been, I am a sole proprietor registered for just over a year. However, I did get an OV from Comodo(Sectigo) last year no problem.
I contacted Sectigo as well, and they said I didn’t necessarily need to have been registered for 3 years. I did some more reading and apparently some kind of notarized document helps - I don’t know what kind of document.
I’m on Yellow Pages and DnB - Sectigo said this was helpful.
So I’m getting mixed messages. Has anyone got any comments on this?
