Hi All. I want to create a plugin in such a way that i can have my speaker output routed to one channel and my microphone input from laptop to another input channel. So my requirement is i want 2 different inputs to different microphone channels. I am exploring how to do this and wondering if you can provide some inputs. Thanks.
if the track that plugin is on currently has monitoring enabled it uses a physical audio input, like one of your mic ins, to pass on sound to the effect chain. if you wanna have another independent sound also going into the plugin at the same time you could use a sidechain input for that. these have to be routed somehow which works different in every DAW
