Is it possible to deploy applications that run on iPadOS? I’m still trying to get my head around how exactly iOS differs between iPadOS in the first place.
If not, is this support coming?

AFAIK the iPadOS is just another UI frontend on top of iOS. Every iOS application works on the iPad. You don’t have to care about it for a common app.
