I’m trying the WebView but oddly AUv2 never shows up? anyone else seeing this?
(Sonoma 14.4.1 Apple Silicon arm64).

Maybe there’s permission needed I’m missing?

Entitlements? for AUv2 (or any bundle/dll based), entitlements are inheritance from the host.
have you tested in macos 13?
i had a similar issue with webviews in auv3 that only happened in macos14. there’s a patch in that thread but i don’t know if an actual fix was ever merged anywhere. (note that my problems were auv3-specific but this issue seems identical to what i was seeing).
Thanks, the patch is for AUv3 but you were right to lead me looking into other aspects as this seems to be an issue with AUv2 / JUCE view and not WebView specific.
Ok, follow up -
I think you were right and what I was seeing was the AUv3 issue.
After debug points didn’t trigger on REAPER and Ableton.
I’ve removed the Standalone. it seems that AUv3 always being preferred (I knew that but didn’t remember I had AUv3 in the project which ends up in any Standalone).
Once completely deleted the AUv3s it worked as expected.
