Long-running DirectWrite bug finally fixed!

You'll be glad to hear that we have FINALLY tracked down the intermittent DirectWrite layout bug which has come up many times, and which led to text being placed too high.. Some people had resorted to disabling DirectWrite altogether, but that should no longer be necessary.

The fix turned out to be a bit of a stupid no-brainer, but somehow eluded all of us, and we must have collectively spent days searching for the damn thing in all the wrong places.. Anyway, lots of relief here now that it's done!

Its one of c++ major problems that it allows unitialized variables  (it would be okay if you can define a variable as explicit unitialized)
