After 22 months of development (aka pestering people on JUCE-forum), and half a year of public beta, I just released the Odin 2 synthesizer under GPL3. Along with the release goes the release of the code base.
Odin is a pretty potent, semi-modular synthesizer, which covers about every type of synthesis out there.
Here’s a promotion video, but for the full list of feature read below:
If anyone wants to contribute, you are very welcome to. I’m also happy to receive any kind of feedback for the codebase / project. Its probably no audio-wizard kind of code, but I’ve put all my heart into it since the project started.
Full list of features:
3 Oscillators Slots, 11 different Modules:
- Chiptune Module
- ChipDraw (discrete WaveDraw)
- Spectrum Draw
3 Filter Slots, Available Modules
- Ladder Filter (it sounds really nice)
- Ladder Variations (LP / BP / HP / 12dB / 24dB)
- SEM Filter (State Variable)
- KRG-35 Filter (LP / HP)
- Diode Ladder Filter
- Comb Filter
- Formant Filter
And probably some more more which I forgot.
