Popup menu on mac

Hi!

The popup menu on OSx scroll up button is covered by the top bar. Any chance you could fix that.

Regars.

I’ve never seen that happen! Can you tell me how to reproduce this?

Hi Jules,

I just came up against this yesterday, and it is a blocker for me. Help! :frowning:

Luckily, it is really easy to reproduce!

  1. Create a combo box in any of your apps
  2. Put lots of items in the combo box; enough that you have to scroll up/down because there are too many items to fit on screen at once.
  3. Click on the combo box, scroll down and select the bottom item in the list.
  4. Click on the combo box again, it will pop-up with the last item selected…
5… try scrolling up to the top of the list, you can’t as it is obscured by the MacOS title bar!!!

Presumably some calculation for visible screen area is forgetting to account for the MacOS title bar being present…?

HTH!!!

Pete

Ah yes, sorry - it was indeed just not taking the active screen area into account. I’ve checked-in a new PopupMenu.cpp now to fix it.

Many thanks Jules!!
