Hello JUCE team,
We’re seeing issues with click-to-jump gestures not being written in the latest Logic 10.6.0 and it can be reproduced with the JUCE Gain Plugin example on the latest JUCE version.
As you can see in the video, the dragging gesture is written in latch mode but the clicking is not recognised in Logic:
I think this might be a Logic Pro issue, in that I’m also seeing the same issue when using the Apple-provided AU plugins that ship as part of the CoreAudio framework. I’ve attached a gif showing this in Logic Pro 10.6.0 running on macOS 10.15.7.
Unfortunately I don’t have an older copy of Logic available, but I’d be interested to know whether this definitely worked in older versions.
Thanks for investigating the issue, it does seem like a Logic issue in the end! Interesting to see that the slider in the “Controls” view still appears to have the correct behavior.
