Sorry, your browser does not support inline SVG

#1

Hi,

I started the JUCE DEMO examples and recognized that the Web Browser Component displayed 'Sorry, your browser does not support inline SVG. '  for e.g. http://www.w3schools.com/html/html5_svg.asp

Is there a way around that?

In IE 11 (Firefox and Chrom), the page is shown correctly.

Sounds more like a question for Microsoft than us (assuming this is Windows, as you didn't actually say). I don't think there's anything much that we can change that would affect the version of the embedded IE control that is used.

Yes, it's on windows 7. According to http://www.w3schools.com/html/html5_svg.asp, IE supports the svg tag if version >= 9. When I start my local IE, it is version 11. As I said, IE 11 shows the page without error. So does the WebBrowserComponent not use the same IE version that I see when opening IE?

I did find these two resources when looking into this a while a go but never got around to trying them.
