It has been a while since I have been on this forum and I want to check on the status of sidechain support. I have seen some third party forks and patches but am I correct in understanding that sidechaining is officially supported in JUCE 4.2?
Yes, and the first post in this topic is the guide that you should refer to:
The only patch I’ve yet seen applied to JUCE branch is for RTAS side-chain

The SoundRadix repo includes this patch and another one to fix calling (CDECL etc calling on Windows…).
Though RTAS is for very specific scenarios if you need to support very old targets 
(apparently there are some users with PT 8! out there)
