Is there ever going to be JAP support for developing Tracktion native plugins? Is it even possible?
Just becuase the little interfaces on the filter “blocks” are pretty cool/useful.
I’m sure there’s no urgent need for this… and i’m sure we can all get by without the mini-interfaces… so I’m more just wondering really.
We aren’t planning on releasing an API for this any time soon. But maybe sometime in the future, it wouldn’t be too hard. But in the meantime, you do know about the quick control parameters right? They allow you to put a slider on the filter interface for any parameter in the plug-in.

It’s an idea I pondered a long time ago, but never found time to do it. They wouldn’t need to be native, you could do it as a custom extension of a VST or AU, which tracktion could pick up on if it happened to be there…
