As far as I can see, ValueTrees only work with XML. I know that JSON and XML are quite different. But will there be support for JSON in ValueTrees anytime in the future? Or a replacement?
No, ValueTrees aren’t the right shape to be saved as JSON.
The var object is basically JSON though I guess you’re talking about wanting all the callbacks and fancy stuff? Not really got any plans to add that at the moment.
