AU then VST or VST then AU -> spinning wheel on OSX

hi,

I have just noticed recently that If I try to open a Juce plugin I’m working on in its VST version then the AU version or vice-versa, I get a spinning wheel. If I only care about VST or AU, I have no problem.

any idea?

I don’t understand… You mean open the vst + au versions in the same host at the same time?

Strange - they shouldn’t have anything in common. Could be a namespace clash - on OSX if you load two libraries, it cross-links any exported symbols by name, and that can make a terrible mess. Make sure that your modules only export their entry point functions.
