Audio issues in standalone/Windows 10 Fall Creators update?

I just got a report from a user that the standalone version of my plugin has some problems.

When using Windows Audio and Direct Sound, he just gets a tiny click when he presses a key. When using ASIO, it crashes.

The plugin otherwise works perfectly in his DAW (Cubase).

He’s using an RME HDSP with a Multiface and running Windows 10-64 Fall Creators Update.

No one else has reported any issues with the standalone.

Any ideas? I’m more of a Mac guy.

This sounds like a buffer size issue to me. Please ask the user to check which buffer size is used in Cubase, and which one is configured when using your standalone plugin.
