BUG: "Open recent" history only gets updated when The Introjucer is closed

On MacOSX 10.11 El Capitan.

I would expect the "Open recent" menu to be updated as soon as a project is closed (or is loaded), without needing to restart the app.

I can't reproduce this bug. On my machine, the menu gets updated instantly. Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open Introjucer
  2. Create a new project
  3. Close the new project, but not the Introjucer
  4. Observe that the new project appears in the "Open recent" menu.

Is this not what happens on your machine? Or if you experience something else, could you please provide exact steps to reproduce the bug.

I'll throw this in the mix whilst you're looking at...

I also get odd behaviour with the 'Open Recent' menu,  also on MacOSX 10.11 El Capitan.  (I *might* have seen it on my Windows 7 machine? Can't remember right now.)

Primarily for me, it just fails to show any entries in the Open Recent menu... just Clear All

I think I have a sneaking suspscion that I know exactly whats causing it, and how to replicate it consistently... I'll have a deeper look when I play with the recently opened logic in my program at some point.

Yes, please do - with bugs like this it's crucial that we have some kind of consistent reproduction scenario!
