External Sidechain Compressor

Hello all,

I am building an external sidechain compressor for VST, AAX, and RTAS formats. I have the basic functionality of the compressor done, however I'm unsure sure if JUCE provides external sidechains. Does it? If it does how would I go about implementing this?

I know this topic is long dead but I figured I’d add this because this discussion is the first result on questions regarding sidechain audio in JUCE.

This Article describes setting up your bus configuration for your plugins. Using this you can properly configure your bus to allow sidechain for your external sidechain compression.
