It would be helpful to be able to specify an image for Generic Components, so one could place them onto an Image background in a precise manner. It should not be necessary to specify this image as resource. A drawback would be bigger Jucer output files, but you get nothing for free. The image would only be visible in Jucer, but not included any way in the C++ code.
I guess so… though I don’t think I’d have the patience to prepare image snapshots of all my components!
