sometimes i have to remove the references to certain files and add them again (binary data) so that the latest version of the file is the one used in the project. it would be handy if i could just rightclick on that object in the projucer’s list of resources and have a little menu item like “update” there
little bump for this thread. i was told i can put:
Projucer --resave-resources project_file
into a bat-file to update all binaries without having to reopen the projucer. it didn’t work so i’d be happy about more suggestions. could be fixes for that line, the way to use it, visual studio-features that update binaries (if that’s a thing??) or projucer features that do that, which i don’t know yet. thxx
Which version of the Projucer are you using? Are you definitely using the very latest version from 6.1.4?
6.1.2
and yes, just the moment you replied to me i found a slightly older thread where people had the same problem. i’ll update the projucer soon, thanks! i thought it was not a bug but a feature preventing people from updating resources with too much haste. that’s why i didn’t look for bug reports first
