Just released this free peak meter plugin. Posting it here, since I have found this to be a useful development tool when testing in the AudioPluginHost (since it has no built-in metering):

Just updated Simple Meter to version 2.0. It’s still free!
And now it has some controls to set the number of LEDs, the dB per LED, and more. With the extended range this allows, it can now peer way down into the noise floor if you like (down as low as -190 dBFS).
