Jack for windows

It appears from searching this forum for "jack windows" that JUCE does not support JACK on windows.  Is this true?  Is there a reason it is not supported even though JACK does run on windows?

I want to use NetJack to distribute audio between systems.  I can do this with linux but I need it on windows too.  Has anyone implented Jack for windows in Juce?

No, we don't currently have it running on Windows. We do have linux code to implement JACK, so it may not be rocket science to implement Windows support, but we just haven't done it yet.

Thanks,

I'll look at it.

Has JACK2 since been included for Windows? I use it for pretty much all Windows audio in the studio now as it’s really very solid even compared to DANTE and other solutions. But JUCE doesn’t seem to support JACK2 still perhaps?

Confirmed, JUCE does not currently support jACK, directly.

I’m seeing a lot of fragmentation around this subject.

The code has been applied to the latest JUCE 8 develop branch.

So now it should be possible to finally (after 15 years!!) use JUCE with JACK on macOS and Windows
