Is there instructions / recomendations somewhere on how to get the Live Build functionality working?

Does Juce need to be in a specific location or something?

Recently upgraded to v4.3; and get constant JIT process crashes; segmentation faults etc.

Using Juce v4.3; OSX 10.11.1 El Capitan; Xcode 7.1

Have you tried using the latest version? There have been a number of improvements to the live-build engine since JUCE 4.3

The latest version of JUCE is 5.0.2
