So this originally was a whine about “why doesn’t the source to the audio demo have the recording code” - but when I downloaded the new demo from the head with git, there it all, and more stuff, including some very fancy graphics and an experimental code editor… very nice!
So if you see something in the download binary demo that isn’t in the distribution, try getting the most recent version from git.
