Text Editor Justification

Request - Text editor center alignment

I just spent time looking for a way to do alignment or justification with a TextEditor component, and came to this thread. I’d like to second the motion for left, right and center alignment of text.

Text Position When Editing Labels and Text Editor

Why does the position of the text jump down a couple pixels when editing text inside labels and text boxes? It’s super annoying. Further, why does the text jump to a left justification when I have it set to ‘center’? Also super annoying. Can this be altered with look and feel? Or can it just be fixed in general? vk

Label text editor doesn't respect Justification

Create a Label, use setJustificationType( Justification::centred ), and allow editing. Result: The label text is centered, but when the user clicks to edit the label, the resulting text editor is left justified, causing the text to jump to the left. It would be desirable if, when entering edit mode, the text editor activated in such a way that the text did not visibly shift at all, to create the appearance that it is being changed in-place (i.e. displaying using the Label’s Justification). I was curious if this issue has been addressed yet or if anyone has come up with a solution for not being able to set justification in the TextEditor component.
