Multiple MIDI outs from a plugin?

Hi, don’t think this is possible, but not sure. Is it possible to have multiple MIDI outs from a plugin, in the same way that there are multiple audio-outs, that the users of a DAW could select which MIDI out to take the MIDI from?

Normally those are the 16 MIDI channels. This is already limited in some DAWs: Ableton doesn’t support more than one MIDI output/channel.
