I’m experiencing audio dropouts just with simple throughput with the pluginhost in a Debian arm64 machine.
Reaper works ok.
I just built the extras pluginhost project that comes with it.
Any ideas ?
Are you running it while debugging ?
No, I’m running a release. The droput (clicks and pops) are not consistent…most of the time they are there. No jack, pipewire or pulseaudio. Just pure alsa. There are some other posts about it, but no concrete solution..
If it’s of help to anyone, I’ve never found a solution using the alsa loopback as input. Only using Pipewire as server and the plugin host as clients solves it. (Just with the default installation and config that comes by installing pipewire-alsa
