Selling JUCE app on Linux

I've got my app working on Ubuntu, and I'd like to distribute/sell it.

I might use the same licensing scheme I'm doing on Windows (they are emailed a license file when they purchase) so they can have a cross-platform app.

How should I go about doing this for Ubuntu?

Should I use Ubuntu's "Software Center" or will that preclude cross-platform licencing? What about other distros?

I think Ubuntu's software center is not a bad idea. But for other distros, I'd always offer a direct download link.

Cool. Yeah I wonder if I can still use my own licencing scheme with their Software Center.

I see no reason why you could not use your license scheme.  The Software Center is simply the installation phase.  Once it is installed you can do pretty much anything you want in terms of controlling the operation.
