VST3 manifest issues / Cakewalk

Anyone else experiencing issues with Windows VST3 plugins unable to load in Cakewalk after moving to JUCE 7.0.9 (or any recent JUCE version with manifest generation for VST3)?

Other hosts are having no issues, and Cakewalk will load the plugins if the user manually moves the actual .vst3 file itself out of its .vst3 bundle folder, removing said folder and any remaining contents.

Also, nothing looks amiss with the generated moduleinfo.json manifest file when compared to other known working examples.

The specific (rather unhelpful) error in Cakewalk is:

My hunch is that the Cakewalk team needs to update to the latest VST3 spec (as I’m seeing that other plugin vendors are having the same issue in this host.) I’ve reached out to the team and I’m awaiting a response.

Just a quick update - I’ve heard back from the Cakewalk team, and they’re looking into it, as the issue affects plugins from many vendors at this point.
