Hi all:
A few of the questions that I have been asking lately result in answers that go well beyond my knowledge of C++ and object oriented programming. As a DSP guy, I have always viewed C++ as “C with classes,” and tend not to use many of the deeper concepts. For the DSP code, it is probably a good idea to keep things simple and efficient, but for the other aspects of the program, some of the more elegant C++ object oriented concepts seem useful.
What books do people recommend for learning the concepts needed to become more fluent in the sort of C++ that Juce is built around?
Thanks,
Sean Costello
