I was made aware of an issue with FL Studio on Windows where the plugin editor thumbnails for the plugin browser don’t work. Where the thumbnail should be a clear image of the plugin GUI, the resulting image shown in the plugin browser is weirdly extended beyond the plugin’s bounds and where the plugin should be, there’s just a blank FL Studio wrapper.
On macOS everything seems to be working nicely. Furthermore, old builds of the same plugin work as expected on Windows as well. This got me thinking if the issue could have something to do with the new Direct 2D renderer introduced for Windows in JUCE 8?
This is not a serious bug and it doesn’t prevent the use of the plugin, but I thought I’d mention this as more and more developers are transferring to JUCE 8.
