Hide parameters from host by default?

By default, a lot of plugins (let’s say Arturia Arp 2600 for example) show no parameters to the host, but you can choose (the “Configure” button in Ableton) to add parameters as you want.

How do you do this in Juce? I tried searching the forum some but found only people want to have parameters not be automatable at all.

I think you are showing the Ableton Live interface here. If there are more than a few automation parameters, this is the way that Ableton shows up. The plug-in is still exposing all of the parameters, but you can choose to show them in Ableton (or not).

Thanks for the reply. That seems strange - there are none shown by default, as opposed to whatever limit Ableton has?

In Ableton - when you press ‘config’ in the section at the bottom - parameters only appear when you touch them in the UI of the plugin. My plugin is displaying ALL of my parameters at the moment I’m sure there is some fairly simple invocation to make it behave like other plugins - but I’m not finding it here in the forum or the documentation. Does anyone have a quick pointer to help me make it work like other plugins?
